Have you ever wondered about the fascinating stories of some of Cornwall’s greatest bronze ages structures? Do you have a passion for art?
If so, join our Monumental Improvement project, in partnership with Astroarchaeologist Carolyn Kennet and local Cornish Artist Sam Halstead on Friday the 16th of August for an interesting, awe fulfilling walkshop through immense natural beauty of Bodmin Moor.
We’ll explore the prehistoric past of Bodmin Moor where you’ll become inspired by the incredible views of the landscape and draw the forgotten stories of the ancient monument whilst discovering the moorlands connections with astro-archaeology.

What to bring for this event?
Please bring a packed lunch, drinks and dress for the conditions on the day. We will be stopping regularly so think warm and well covered with waterproof shoes, boots or wellies! It would also be helpful if you can bring either a sit mat or a carriable folder stool or similar to perch on.
If you have preferred drawing materials and boards, please feel free to bring them, though we will supply if not.
Additional Information:
If the weather is unkind to us, we will have access to hall all day. We will also car share out to the Moor from the Hall. This event will require a walk of up to 6 miles with some steep gradients and wet under foot conditions.
Dogs will not be allowed at this event.
