Bodmin Moor Community Group Meeting: meet the farmer, rural isolation advice and farm walk.

Join us at Treveddoe farm on the edge of Bodmin Moor for the third of our Cornwall National Landscape Natural Beauty & The Beast events aimed at networking and supporting community groups across Bodmin Moor and all of the surrounding hamlets, villages and towns.

What to expect:

• Meet Ben Thomas who farms this land with nature and the environment holistically alongside his herd of Belted Galloways.
• Community group workshop session where we will reflect on your aims for the landscape and look ahead to next steps.
• Have a view of the amazing new map that has been created by groups attending our previous events.
• Hear from Sarah Counter from LandtoSeaCBT about rural isolation and ways we can help ourselves, families and friends to combat loneliness and improve all of our mental health.
• Have your say in shaping the next Cornwall National Landscape Management Plan.
• Join us for a health and wellbeing walk on the farm

What to bring?

Please ensure to bring appropriate clothing depending on the weather forecast of the day, we will be spending the morning in a dry barn however there is an option to join the walk so please bring boots, hats, sunblock and a water bottle as well as any medication you will need if you wish to join the walk.  Free tea, coffee and cake will be provided.
