Dark Skies & Star Gazing Evening

Join the West Penwith Dark Skies group for a relaxed and inspiring evening celebrating our dark skies and learning why they are so important for both wildlife and people.

Enjoy an informal night under the stars with expert talks, practical guidance and the chance to experience the night sky in a beautiful rural setting.

✨ What’s included

  • A short talk on why dark skies matter for wildlife
  • Stargazing (weather permitting)
  • If it’s wet or cloudy, a PowerPoint presentation exploring the universe
  • Guidance on photographing dark skies and the night sky

The talks are free to attend, with food and refreshments available to purchase on the night.
