Drolla Bench Launch Event @ IntoBodmin

May 9 @ 19:00 - 22:00

IntoBodmin and Cornwall National Landscape are teaming up once again on a lovely event to celebrate the Drolla Bench!

On 9th May, we gather to celebrate the arrival of the Drolla storytelling bench at intoBodmin.
What to Expect?

Come and celebrate with us and Cornwall National Landscape on the 9th May with an evening of Storytelling and a good ol’ fashioned Cornish sing-song!

Arrival from 7pm to grab a drink and view the Drolla Bench in our newly refurbished garden!
Then an evening of storytelling, music and ending on a ‘shout’ lead by Daniel Woodfield.

The evening will feature a reading by Pascale Petit.

Pascale Petit was born in Paris and lives in Cornwall. Her latest poetry collection, Beast, which contains her Bodmin Moor poems, was published by Bloodaxe Books in 2025, and was a Poetry Book Society Recommendation.
