Take a walk through three centuries of military history. The Rame Conservation Trust is pleased to invite you on a guided tour of some of Cornwall’s most important, and picturesque, defensive structures.

A guided walk around a series of defensive positions dating from WWII back to the 18th Century. The tour will be led by local expert John Manley and cover the positions known as Redoubts 3, 4, and 5 built into the hills and woodland of the Rame Peninsula Area of Natural Beauty. The walk will take place over rural footpaths, woodland, and hills, so stout footwear is required and attendees must be physically fit.

Numbers are capped at 25 people per tour. The Redoubts are old military structures and attendees will be required to wear suitable clothing and join the tour at their own risk.

‘Acceptance of Risk’ forms must be completed by all participating adults (16 & above) in advance of attending a tour. All children under the age of 16 must be escorted by an adult.
